Sankt Patrick's Day

Hellooo, It's been a while ♥ 

These past few weeks have just been absolutely manic. Work's been busy as usual (still 50 hours plus overtime), Danish friends visiting London, applications with recommendations and other important stuff that needed to be sorted out and sent before a certain deadline (if I wish to start college obviously)! So I'm sure you can imagine me running around like a freaking headless chicken trying to keep a calm mind and enjoy living in present time... Or not! Fortunately a couple of my friends from Denmark came to London this weekend and I decided to meet up with Betina Ask on Sat where it as some of you might have been aware of was Sankt Patrick's Day! Green hats, shirts and skirts on every corner of Oxford Circus, Covent Garden and Leicester Square so we both agreed to find somewhere to be a part of what seemed to be a really good reason to go out, party, get hammered and wear weird green clothing - originally it was to celebrate the arrival of Christianity in Ireland in the early 5th century and was made an official feast day in the seventeenth century. Good God, I must be boring your eyes out now! Anyways, 

Betina and I went to my absolute favorite restaurant in Covent Garden, Pix, which is a tapas bar filled with delicious and light snacks and appetizers that quickly turns into a feast. We obviously just went to the bar immediately, got 2 San Miguel and sort of forgot about the food while we were chatting away. Afterwards we went to Carnaby Street where we found a cosy little bar with very loud R&B music and a great atmosphere, lovely tomato/mozzarella salad and fabulous drinks! I doubt that I could have celebrated this holiday any better than this.
