Windsor Castle

My roomie and I decided to go to Windsor Castle yesterday because of the great weather! And it was such a lovely experience. We walked by the river and I kind of had a moment because these beautiful swans in the pictures above reminded me so much of where I come from.  In Denmark the swan is appointed to be the national bird in the Scandinavia countries and therefore has a great symbolic value. (Not to mention "The Ugly Duck" by H.C. Andersen! One of my favorite fairytales!) Anyway, afraid to sound too geeky about birds, so... Moving on! Iman and I just had a terrific day and ended it buying seriously vulgar, guilty, delicious and really expensive cakes in a cute little shop in the high street of Windsor. Mmmmm... Sure made the end of a blessed day.
